On February 21, 2018, with the support of the Association of European Businesses in Russia (AEB) and the AEB Transport and Customs Committee, the XIV Annual Customs Conference “Customs and Business: Ten Steps Towards Meeting” will be held. Russian Tax Free System Will Be Launched in Test Mode Until the End of March

The law on the introduction of the tax free system in Russia came into force on January 1 of this year, but the project will be launched later, as the by-laws necessary for the implementation of the law should be adopted in February. This was told in the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The ministry noted that testing of the tax free system in Russia will begin in the first quarter of 2018.

The signing of the Charter of bona fide participants in foreign trade will open on December 25

The portal for the remote signing of the Charter was presented on December 18, 2017 at the Joint Meeting of the Expert Advisory Council for the Implementation of the Customs Policy under the FCS of Russia and the Public Council under the FCS of Russia. At the beginning of the meeting, the first deputy head of the FCS of Russia, Ruslan Valentinovich Davydov, recalled that a year ago at such a meeting the idea of ​​signing the Charter of Conscientious Participants in Foreign Economic Activities was laid (the Charter). The initiators of the adoption of the Charter were the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Public Organization “Delovaya Rossiya” and the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises “OPORA RUSSIA”. This year in October at the customs exhibition the Charter was presented to the public. However, the participants of foreign economic activity still did not have the opportunity to join this document.
