From January 1, 2021, a tax-free check can be issued online

Starting from the new year, Russian shops that operate on the tax-free system will be able to issue foreigners not paper, but electronic checks. Such a law comes into force on January 1, 2021.

The number of Charter signatories reached 4000 companies

IIAC regularly collects statistics by analyzing the current registers of signatories of the Charter of bona fide foreign trade participants and the Declaration of Approval and Support of the Charter of bona fide foreign trade participants. As of December 28, 2020, we can announce that the number of companies that have signed the Charter or Declaration has reached 4000!

Competition in the EAEU is under the protection of the antimonopoly authorities of the member states

Arman Shakkaliev, Minister for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, outlined the priorities in the field of protecting competition in cross-border markets at the international scientific and practical conference “Antimonopoly Policy: Science, Practice, Education” organized by the FAS Russia and the Skolkovo Foundation.


Results of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council

EEU standardization: unification for the sake of smoothing out the difference in the clearance of the import of goods

The EEU countries agreed to include in the draft strategic directions for the development of the union until 2025 the proposal of the Russian side on the introduction of a single standard for customs operations and customs control. The FCS hopes that this will make it possible to level the differences in the approaches of the customs officials of the five countries to the assessment of customs value and to the rigidity of control. Experts note that the actual unification will depend primarily on the technical equipment of the inspectors and on the risk profiles common for the countries, while the human factor often becomes an important factor in choosing the place of “customs clearance”.


Charter news: 8 more organizations have been identified that have ceased their activities

Monitoring of the status of organizations included in the register of the Charter of Conscientious Participants in Foreign Economic Activity and the Declaration of Approval and Support of the Charter of Conscientious Participants in Foreign Economic Activity, conducted by the IIAC on October 11, 2020, revealed 8 organizations that had ceased their activities.

The EEC is developing a new “roadmap” for the implementation of transport policy in 2021-2023

From 22 to 24 September, chaired by the Director of the Department of Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Dauren Sabitov, the second meeting of the Working Group on the preparation of a draft roadmap for 2021-2023 on the implementation of a coordinated (agreed) transport policy was held.
