Vladimir Bulavin at SPIEF-2021: the digit should connect us with the customs administrations of other states and participants in foreign economic activity

On June 3, the head of the FCS of Russia Vladimir Bulavin took part in the session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum “Transformation of World Trade. The effectiveness of government regulation ”.

The main issues for discussion were advanced information and communication technologies that allow creating a barrier-free environment for trade, as well as the benefits and risks of digitalization of the state and business.

The organizers estimated the amount of agreements concluded at the SPIEF at RUB 3 trillion 860 billion

A third of this amount was accounted for by the Leningrad Region; this year the region set a record for itself in terms of the value of agreements concluded. The forum was attended by 13 thousand people.

During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), its participants concluded more than 800 agreements worth 3.8 trillion rubles, said Anton Kobyakov, Presidential Adviser, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee, reports TASS.

For the 1st quarter of 2021, the FCS transferred 1,329.9 billion rubles to the federal budget

In the 1st quarter of 2021, the customs authorities transferred 1,329.9 billion rubles to the federal budget. The achieved fiscal result exceeded the forecast target by 26.4%. Compared to the same period in 2020, the amount of federal budget revenues administered by the FCS of Russia increased by 12% or 142 billion rubles.

The EEC Trade Block held a seminar on foreign trade regulation for representatives of state bodies of Uzbekistan

An overview seminar for representatives of state authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the regulation of foreign trade, was held at the Eurasian Economic Commission. Representatives of the EEC trade block made a presentation on the measures of customs and tariff regulation operating within the EAEU and spoke about the specifics of non-tariff regulation.

The Ministry of Finance prepared the procedure for the operation of the national system of traceability of goods

The Federal Portal of Draft Normative Legal Acts has posted a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation “On Approval of the Procedure for the Functioning of the National System of Traceability of Goods”.

On regulation.gov.ru there is a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation, prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Russia, which defines the rules for the functioning of the national system of traceability of goods. The project was created for the purpose of ensuring the readiness of the national traceability system in the Russian Federation and approbation of control functions that must be ensured before the entry into force of the Agreement on the mechanism of traceability of goods imported into the customs territory of the EAEU.

New analytics in statistics on the Charter for 03/04/2021

IIAC regularly collects statistics by analyzing the current registers of signatories of the Charter of bona fide foreign trade participants and the Declaration of Approval and Support of the Charter of bona fide foreign trade participants. Now in the report, which has already become traditional, there is an analytics on the number of signatures per million of the population and the percentage of signatories from the number of participants in foreign economic activity in the Federal District.
