“We, in my opinion, have repeatedly and consistently stated, although these statements, of course, are drowned in those statements that we are forced to make, defending or disavowing some aggressive British attacks, but we have consistently repeatedly stated that our country is ready to improve relations exactly as much as the British side is ready for it, ”she said.
The bases for this are obvious: mutual respect, mutual benefit, legal basis. Equality and mutual respect is an excellent basis for the development of our bilateral relations, ties and interaction, ”added Maria Zakharova.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in a conversation on October 25, expressed satisfaction with the progress in the development of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
